Dan Bader
Trumpet
Dan rejoins the KIDS band for his fourth year as a member of the trumpet section. He is a graduate of
Ashwaubenon High School where he won numerous awards and honors. Dan has completed his freshman year at
UW–Eau Claire where he is majoring in Music Education and Trumpet performance |

Katie Bakunowicz
Alto
Katie will be a second year member of the Kids from Wisconsin troupe this year. She will enter her senior
year at Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids where she is a cheerleader and is active in plays, musicals
and dance recitals. |

Katie Bates
Alto
Katie is in her third year as a singer/dancer with the KIDS. She graduated from Homestead High
School in Mequon last year where she was a member of the choir and orchestra. She now attends UW–
Stevens Point where she is studying Musical Theater. |

Brian Brammer
Tenor
Brian is a June 2010 graduate of Port Washington High School where he participated in choir, Jazz choir,
school musicals and earned many vocal honors. He was part of “Limited Edition,” the Port a capella group that
won the 2010 International Championship of High School a capella in New York this past April. In his second
year as a KID, Brian will attend Belmont University in Nashville in the fall. |

Mackenzie Curran
Alto
Mackenzie just completed her junior year at Menomonee Falls High School where she has been active in musicals,
organized choirs, the varsity dance team and competitive swimming. She competed in the Menomonee Falls Junior
Miss contest and was named first alternate. Mackenzie attended KIDS camp last year as an alternate and now
joins the troupe for her first year. |

Aaron Davis
Baritone
Former camp alternate Aaron Davis joins the 2010 Kids troupe for his first summer. Aaron attends Brookfield
Central High School where he participates in choral groups, musicals and plays bass in the jazz band. He has
been a member of Main Street Song and Dance Troupe and sings with Midwest Vocal Express, a Greendale (WI) based
men’s barbershop chorus. |

John Dobbratz
Bass
Veteran John Dobbratz returns to the troupe for a fourth year. He is a graduate of Mayville High School where
he was active in vocal and instrumental music. John just completed his sophomore year at Viterbo University in
La Crosse where he is a Musical Theater major. |

Hollis Dorsey
Alto
Hollis is a second year member of the troupe this summer. She recently graduated from Milwaukee High School
of the Arts and will attend college in fall. She was active in her high school music program and performed
with the City Ballet Theater and Dance Works. |

Calvin Franke
Tenor
Another graduate of Mayville High School, Calvin performed with all the vocal groups and also participated
in cross country and track. This is his second year as a singer/dancer with the troupe. He will attend
Luther College in the fall. |

Nate Gilanyi
Tenor
Nate returns for a third year singing tenor. He is a graduate of Burlington High School where he was
active in vocal and instrumental groups. He just completed his first year at Belmont University where he
is majoring in Commercial Music with a vocal performance emphasis. |

Marie Gustafson
Soprano
First year KID, Marie Gustafson, graduated from Wausau West High School in 2009 and participated in Wausau
Community Theater and Central Wisconsin Children's Theater. Marie attends UW-Eau Claire as a vocal performance
major and is a member of the all female a capella group Audacious. Last fall she performed with five
Broadway stars in Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway. |

Tyler Henderson
Trombone
Tyler Henderson of Sheboygan is in his first year as a trombone player in the KIDS band. He is a graduate
of Sheboygan North High School and currently studies music education at UW–La Crosse. Tyler, who plays
several instruments, has been a member of the Generations Big Band (Sheboygan) and the Sheboygan Youth
Symphony. He has an identical twin brother who studies percussion performance! |

Scott Hensiak
Bass Guitar
Scott returns to the KIDS band for a second year. He is a graduate of Muskego High School and is currently
enrolled at UW–Eau Claire as a music major. Scott also plays woodwinds. |

Summer Herzfeldt
Soprano
Summer is singing and dancing with the KIDS for her second year. She just graduated from New London
High School where she won numerous solo awards, captained and choreographed the dance team and was a
member of Wisconsin Ambassadors of Music European Tour. She studied and performed in New York. Summer
will attend Belmont University in Nashville in fall. |

Chelsea Hoelz
Alto
Second year KID Chelsea Hoelz just graduated from Mayville High School and will enter Viterbo University in La
Crosse this fall. She has won soloist awards at show choir competitions and was part of a group that was
selected to sing at Carnegie Hall this past April. Chelsea can make her dog sing! |

Julida Kochanowski
Keyboards
Julida will be one of two new faces behind the keyboards this year. She is from Junction City and
attends St. Olaf College in Minnesota where she is majoring in vocal education with an emphasis in piano
and English. |

Andrew Kreigh
Keyboards
First year band member Andrew Kreigh attended Monona Grove High School and is currently enrolled at
UW–Oshkosh. His awards include Outstanding Show Choir Award, Louis Armstrong Jazz Award and Outstanding
Musicianship award at the State Jazz Conference. He plays piano, string bass, percussion and
organ. |

Jenny Kruger
Soprano
Jenny is back for her fourth year. She is a 2009 graduate of Mayville High School where she participated
in all the choral groups. She just completed her freshman year at UW–Stevens Point where she is a Music
Education major. |

Mike Malone
Percussion
Mike joins the KIDS band this year as a percussionist. He is a graduate of Oshkosh West High School and
now attends UW–Eau Claire. He received the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award and won the Fox Jazz Festival
soloist competition. His college involvement includes the Wind Symphony, Jazz Band II, Percussion
Ensemble and the Chippewa Valley Symphony |

Jacob McCoy
Trumpet
Jacob is a first year member who will be a senior at Muskego High School in fall. He is active in all
the instrumental groups at school and was a featured soloist with the school’s wind ensemble at the 2009
Wisconsin Music Educators Association Convention last October. |

Jason Meinhardt
Trumpet
Jason joins the trumpet section of the band as a first year member. He comes from Schofield where he
attended D. C. Everest High School. He is now enrolled at UW–La Crosse where he is co-lead trumpet in
the top jazz ensemble. He is a biology/medical major hoping to become a dentist. His awards include
the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award and John Phillip Sousa Band Award. |

Jared Mondlock
Percussion
First year percussionist Jared Mondlock hails from Menomonie where he attended Menomonie High School. He
now attends UW–Eau Claire. Jared received the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award and played in the Indianhead
Honors Band. He also received numerous state solo and ensemble awards. |

David Mullins
Bass
David just completed his junior year at Appleton East High School where he participates in choral
activities and musicals. This is his first year as a member of the KIDS troupe. |

Julio Reyes
Woodwind
Born in Spain, Julio moved to the United States when he was 11 years old. He attended East
DePere High School and is now a student at UW–Green Bay majoring in music performance/jazz
studies. Julio has achieved awards from many sources and performs with his own jazz quartet.
This will be Julio’s first year as a member of the KIDS band. |

Kimberly Rhyme
Soprano
Kimy is a 2009 graduate of Preble High School in Green Bay. She was involved in choirs, musicals and
played violin. She is also involved in a curling team in Green Bay. Kimy just completed her freshman
year as a dance major at UW–Milwaukee. This will mark her third year with the KIDS. |

Mandy Rieck
Trumpet
Mandy is in her fourth year as a member of the trumpet section. A graduate of Oconomowoc High School,
she is an instrumental music education major at Winona State University in Minnesota. She is on the
Dean’s list, plays in the Chamber Orchestra, Symphonic Wind Ensemble and is a member of Winona Symphony
Orchestra and Winona Oratorio Chorus. |

Isaac Risseeuw
Bass
Back for his second season with the KIDS, Isaac just finished his freshman year at UW–Eau Claire where
he performed with the Concert Choir and Symphony Band and joined ACDA, SNATS and MENC – all music
organizations. He also enjoyed working with StageCrew for campus events and concerts. Isaac attended
Darlington High School where he was chosen for State Honors Choirs and Dorian Chamber Choir at Luther
College. Isaac looks forward to becoming a choral music educator. |

Tyler Sandblom
Baritone
Having spent one summer as a camp alternate, Tyler is now in the KIDS troupe
for his first year of tour. From Hubertus, he is a senior at Hartford Union High
School. In addition to his school musical activities, Tyler has performed in
over 30 musical productions at several community theaters in the area for the
last 7 years. |

Blake Smith
Trombone
Blake joins the KIDS band as a first year trombonist. He is a graduate of Pulaski High School (Pulaski,
WI) and will attend UW–Eau Claire in the fall. Blake has been active in the State Honors music project
and is a member of the 2010 US Army All-American Marching Bands. He has performed with the Green Bay
Symphony Youth Orchestra, Northwoods Brass Quintet, Pulaski Community Band and Allouez Village Band. A
highlight of his high school career was a trip to Pasadena, CA where he marched with the Pulaski High
School Band in the Tournament of Roses Parade. |

Javen Smith
Tenor
Second year KID, Javen Smith, attends Washington Park High School, Racine, where he will be a senior
in fall. |

Phil Smyth
Guitar
Phil returns as a third year member of the KIDS band. In addition to guitar, he plays the violin which
he demonstrated very well in last season’s Hoedown. Originally from Canada, Phil lives in
Stevens Point and has completed his junior year at UW-Stevens Point. |

Courtney Toepel
Soprano
Courtney joins the KIDS for a fourth year. She is from Kiel and is currently enrolled in the Musical
Theater program at Viterbo University in La Crosse. She has performed in cabarets and musicals during her
college career. |

Travis Waas
Tenor
Travis is now in his second year as a member of the KIDS troupe. He is a graduate of Mayville High
School and just completed his first year at UW-Stevens Point where he is majoring in Musical
Theater. |

Jennifer Binversie
Alto
Jennifer attended Roncalli High School in Manitowoc and now studies at the Virginia School of the Arts.
She has studied dance since she was four years old and attended various academies and dance schools. |

Meredith Bobber
Soprano
Meri is an honors student at Homestead High School in Mequon. She is a member of the choir is
in musicals and runs on the cross country team. She is a company dancer at North Shore Dance
Studio and has won solo awards in competitions. |

Simeon Heili
Baritone
Simeon attends Roncalli High School in Manitowoc where he is active in choir and musicals. |


|
RJ Heim
Baritone
RJ lives in Fitchburg and attends Oregon High School He has appeared in many musicals and
also plays saxophone in the school band. |


|
Daniel Hoeft
Tenor
Dan is from Juneau and will be a senior at Dodgeland High School. In addition to appearing in
musicals and solo and ensemble contests, he also participates in forensics. |


|
Carly Preissner
Soprano
Carly is a June graduate of Fond du Lac High school. This will be her second year as an
alternate. She has participated in vocal jazz, Madrigals and the cardinal Singers. |


|
Bethany White
Alto
Bethany will be a senior at Lancaster High School in fall. She has studied dance extensively
and participated in numerous competitions. She has also performed vocally and has been in
productions. |


|
Cody Wilcoxson
Tenor
Cody completed his senior year at Clear Lake High School this year. He has performed at the
Mall of America, Disney World and was involved with the 4-H Showcase Singers. |
|
